Refund Policy
Cancellation policy — Short stays (< 28 nights)
Free cancellation period (24 hours)
All reservations are eligible for a free cancellation within 24 hours of booking confirmation (times in Europe/Zurich). A full refund will then be issued.
Firm policy (beyond 24 hours)
≥ 30 days before arrival: full refund (100%)*
Between 7 and 30 days before arrival (inclusive): 50% refund*
Less than 7 days before arrival: non-refundable
* The amounts reimbursed do not include any non-refundable fees that may be owed to third parties (payment fees, platform commissions, optional insurance), if applicable.
Additional information
No-shows and early departures: non-refundable.
Modifications (dates, number of guests): subject to availability; if a modification is equivalent to a partial cancellation, the above scale applies to the cancelled nights.
Timestamp: the cancellation date/time taken into account is that recorded by our system (Europe/Zurich time zone).
Security deposit (if applicable): is not cashed in case of cancellation; however, it may be retained in whole or in part to cover costs already incurred with your written agreement.
Force majeure: in the event of a documented exceptional event (within the meaning of Swiss law), we examine on a case-by-case basis suitable solutions (postponement of stay, credit note, or refund).
Examples to clarify
Check-in on December 31st:
Cancellation on November 28 (≥ 30 days) → 100% refund
Cancellation on December 15th (between 30 and 7 days prior to arrival) → 50% refund
Cancellation on December 27th (< 7 days prior) → 0% refund
Booking made on October 10th at 3:00 PM → free cancellation possible until October 11th at 3:00 PM
